Ethiopian Airlines first woman captain

Congratulations to Captain Amsale on her achievement and to Ethiopian Airlines on their first woman captain. Here is more, from the website www.tadias.com. Of course, she is not the first Ethiopian woman pilot, according to the story that may be Asegedech Asefa, who became a pilot post World War II, or Mulumebet Emeru, whose flight training was interrupted when the Italians envaded Ethiopia in 1936. Ethiopian Airlines has excellent standards and it is great to see women able to advance so far here, as in other African airlines.

Congrats Capt Amsale - first woman captain on Ethiopian Airlines
